Helios is expanding operations in the European Union and has completed the set-up in November of a new affiliate in Poland. Helios Polska sp. z o. o. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Helios Aragón Pte Ltd.
The Company considers that the geological setting of Poland is highly prospective for natural hydrogen and presents an excellent opportunity to leverage exploration learning’s from Spain to Central Europe. An active natural hydrogen system in Poland has been proven through numerous well shows and seeps at surface.
CEO, Ian Munro commented that:
“Central Europe, and Poland in particular, is considered to be one of the most prospective areas to explore for natural hydrogen. We look forward to working collaboratively with stakeholders to acquire high-quality acreage for evaluation, with the aim of discovering commercial accumulations which can be in production before the end of the decade.
The Helios vision is to produce the lowest cost hydrogen to be utilised locally in Poland or distributed throughout Europe to enhance energy security and support the broader transition to a lower carbon future”
